Africa

Posted on by Sassafras

Last week we traveled to a new continent-Africa!  Our focus was primarily on three different regions that cover vast areas of Africa; rainforest, desert and savannah.  We looked at  pictures and talked about what it’s like in each of these places.   Some of the children worked together to create a large map of Africa to show where you can find each of these places throughout the continent. They glued on sand for the desert, pieces of straw for the savannah and leaves for the rainforest.
