Why So Many Hand Bones?
Black Cherry students participated in a “hands” on experiment, answering the question “why do we have so many bones in our hands”? The students tried out what it would be like to have only one bone per finger. We taped large “popsicle like” sticks to each finger. Then we had the students try to pick up objects on the table. The students agreed, that it’s MUCH easier having several small bones instead of one finger bone. This entry was posted in Black Cherry. Bookmark the permalink.
