Part-time IT Helpdesk Tech/System Administrator

West Side Montessori is seeking a qualified candidate to provide IT support to maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software.
Background 
West Side Montessori (WSM), following the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, inspires the development of individual children in a safe, supportive, culturally-diverse environment that gives them the freedom to explore, cooperate, create, and become independent learners. 
 
WSM, a 501(c)(3) organization, serves families with students 13 months through 8th grade and was founded in 1975. WSM is one of only five accredited Montessori schools in the state of Ohio. 
 
Education & Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or computer science 
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience with similar job responsibilities 
 
Skills & Abilities 
  • Windows and Windows Server (Active Directory) 
  • Apple OS, iOS, and JAMF enterprise management software 
  • Google apps 
  • TCP/IP protocols, file sharing, print services, DHCP, roaming profiles, and DNS 
  • VMWare  
  • Wireless networks and router/firewall administration 
  • Exposure to or knowledge of database software 
  • Able to accomplish tasks without direct supervision 
  • Able to communicate effectively 
  • Proven ability to maintain security and confidentiality 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Monitor daily, weekly, monthly back-ups
  • Troubleshoot user tickets 
  • Address network problems 
  • Plan, implement, and test software upgrades and patches 
  • Evaluate, test, deploy, and support new technologies 
  • Execute documentation of all systems hardware, software, firmware, and configurations
  • Maintain server and databases
