Program Expansion at Toledo Campus

West Side Montessori is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its early childhood programming at the Toledo Campus, beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. As part of this initiative, the minimum age for enrollment in the Little House program will shift from 13 months to 6 weeks.
This expansion reflects West Side Montessori’s commitment to supporting families during the most formative stages of their child’s development. By welcoming children as young as 6 weeks old, the school will offer families earlier access to Montessori education and greater continuity of care from the very start of a child’s life.

“Families deserve high‑quality, consistent care during their child’s earliest months,” said Kathy Heckert, Director of Early Childhood Education. “Expanding our Little House program allows us to partner with parents from day one and provide an environment grounded in respect, independence, and the Montessori philosophy.”

With this enhancement, West Side Montessori becomes the first American Montessori Society-accredited school in Ohio to offer a program specifically designed for infants. The new offering underscores the school’s longstanding leadership in Montessori education and its dedication to meeting the evolving needs of families in the region.
