West Side Montessori Celebrates 50 Years of Amazing Outcomes!
West Side Montessori is thrilled to announce its 50th Anniversary Celebration during the 2025–2026 school year, honoring a half-century of nurturing independence, mutual respect, and social responsibility guided by the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori.
Founded in 1975, West Side Montessori has grown into a vibrant learning community serving over 375 children, ages 13 months through eighth grade, across its two campuses at 7115 W. Bancroft Street in Toledo and 13587 Roachton Road in Perrysburg, Ohio.
A series of special events will mark this historic milestone:
- 50th Anniversary Kick-Off: Harvest Glowdown – October 24, 2025. This autumn celebration will light up the night as West Side families and guests enjoy food, fun, fireworks, and community spirit.
- Alumni Reunion – December 21, 2025 A heartwarming gathering of graduates, former students, and staff to reconnect and reminisce.
- EpiCuriosity: 50th Gala – March 14, 2026. The red carpet will be rolled out for a magical evening of bidding, dancing, hearty grazing, and celebrating.
“These events are a tribute to the families, educators, staff, trustees, and supporters who have shaped our journey,” said Head of School Jenn Schoepf, “and a toast to the future of learning that’s fueled by confidence, self-motivation, and compassion.”
