Vicente started his journey at West Side Montessori at just two years old in Little House, growing up in an environment that nurtured curiosity and independent thinking.
Throughout his time at West Side, he pursued athletics, playing basketball and cross country, which strengthened his discipline, teamwork, and determination.
Among his favorite classes, Outdoor Education stood out the most. He appreciated the way it connected learning with nature, offering a hands-on experience that made education feel alive. His Montessori education has shaped his ability to think critically and approach challenges with an advanced mindset, helping him feel prepared for high school.
Vicente is grateful to have stayed at West Side through middle school, especially for the exciting trips that made his experience even more memorable. While he is still deciding where he will attend high school, he knows that he wants to use this time to prepare for college as much as possible and take his soccer journey to the next level.
Looking ahead, Vicente’s aspirations are high—he hopes to attend either an Ivy League university or a top-tier Division 1 college, setting the foundation for a successful future. His advice to younger students is practical: start a sport. He believes that sports help develop leadership skills, patience, and athleticism, shaping students into well-rounded individuals.
Reflecting on his years at West Side, Vicente is ready to take the next steps, knowing that the experiences and lessons he has gained will continue to guide him on his path forward.
